The carriage house is a stand-alone structure about 500 feet from the main house and log cabin. Attached to a 200-year-old chestnut bank barn, it underwent extensive renovations in 2005, including a new, larger bathroom with whirlpool-style air tub, vessel sink and terracotta tile.

The main room of the carriage house, painted in deep colors of gold and cranberry, features a sitting area under a vaulted ceiling and skylight, a queen-size pencil-post bed under a lower ceiling of pressed wallpaper, and a slate-covered foyer with a 18th century cherry blanket chest.

The sofa can be turned into a twin-size bed for a child or additional family member.

Other amenities include:

• gas fireplace
• TV/VCR and stereo
• refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker
• hair dryer
• iron and ironing board

Breakfast is served in a private room at the main house.

Double occupancy:
$160 plus tax for one night
$145 plus tax for two or more nights
Single occupancy is $10/night less.

A third person in the room is $25/night.
