From Interstate 79

Heading north:

Exit I-79 at Warrendale. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto the Red Belt, heading east. (The Red Belt is a series of two-lane roads loosely cobbled together so that the entire network circles the county.)

After about a mile, cross over Rt. 19 and drive into Warrendale, staying on the Red Belt.

At the four-way stop in Warrendale, go straight for a mile until coming to a four-way stop. Turn left, continuing to follow the Red Belt signs, and drive past Treesdale (housing development and golf course) and Pine-Richland High School.

At the T intersection just past the high school, turn left, and then bear right at the fork in the road, continuing to follow the Red Belt. Drive several more miles to the next four-way stop in the small community of Bakerstown.

Go straight through the intersection and drive two miles until reaching another four-way stop. (A tire company is on the right at this intersection.) Proceed through the stop sign and drive exactly a half mile until coming to the Sun and Cricket on the right.

Heading south:

Exit I-79 at Cranberry/Mars/Route 19. This ramp will further split.

Take the exit for "Mars/Route 228 East."

At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Route 228, heading east. Continue about 10 miles until you come to a traffic light and the intersection for Route 8.

Turn right, heading south. Drive about three miles, going through the traffic light for Sandy Hill Road. Continue south about a mile and look for the sign for the Red Belt. Pick up with the directions listed for heading south From Route 8.
